Dr. Viren Patel received his dental degree from the University of London in England and is also a Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He practiced in England prior to coming to California in 1992.
Further advanced courses in adhesion dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, the Geneva Denture System, and implants have facilitated Dr. Patel’s ability to offer new techniques and technology to his patients. He has also received extensive training on TMJ and bite disorders at the world-renowned Pankey Institute and Dawson Academy.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American and California Dental Associations as well as Past President of the Sacramento District Dental Society and Sacramento District Dental Foundation. Dr. Patel currently serves as a director of the California Dental Association and as a delegate to the American Dental Association House of Delegates.
Dr Patel has been inducted as a fellow of The International College of Dentists, The American College of Dentists and The Pierre Fauchard Academy.
In Addition, Dr Patel is on faculty at California Northstate University College of Dental Medicine where he is involved in the development of curriculum and clinical training of the next generation of dentists.
